Indigenous country land is a piece is inspired from the country we grew up on and the interconnectedness we share with our environment and how the country and land we live on is absorbed into our being and fibres.

As proud Mayi women from North Western Queensland we want to share our love of art and our interpretation of female empowerment of women.

The inner circle is the core family kinship structure that exists in our tribe, the browns are the variation of how we see each other and how our skins are fragments of that colour of the lands in which we live. The mountains are the shields that bind us together and keep our country safe along with our people.
